Happy Christmas in advance. You may be aware that we are all together in the fight against dictatorship in our country and therefore we must do it with courage and respect and not with misinformation and libel if we really want God to help us. Many occasions I read names of good people being tainted and stained by Pa Ndery Mbai in the name of journalism or fighting against Yahya Jammeh. Do you think that Gambians really care about Pa Nderry insulting innocent people --- men and women because he merely hates them?

Even if Pa Nderry lacks home training as we all know his background, he can still respect other people’s families. Decent and brave journalists who are interested in the truth should stand up against him to preserve the integrity of their profession. When I first came to the West Pa Nderry was still a kid, and I have lived in the US and various parts of Europe but never came across any media that abuses its role to that extent and engaged in endless insults of innocent people.

We see how he treated people who in the beginning thought he was up to good and started helping him. Now he feels too big and arrogant and have started castigating all of them. He continues to fabricate lies to stain these people in public. Pa Nderry keeps telling his friends that people will know he has the Freedom Newspaper to finish them. Well, thank God people now know the whole truth. Pa Nderry has lots of stories to write about, but he prefer to ignore them. Insults belongs to where it came from and Pa Nderry has never written those bad and insulting articles about his own family.

What about his mother who is equally a griot and praise-singer for president Yahya Jammeh whenever the president visits Nyamina. Pa Nderry’s own mum was sent to Mecca by Jammeh to reward her praise-singing job. From his pocket, Jammeh paid her entire expenses as well. Why was this never published? What about Pa Nderry’s mum's infidelity? She was kicked out of her own village due to infidelity but I never read that in his freedom pages. What about his younger brother’s malicious intent and lies to gain asylum in the US when he absconded from The Point newspaper in Gambia? I saw Pa wrote about other people’s status abroad including those he knows nothing about! This hatred harboured by this man is hard to believe.

Truly Pa Nderry has a lot to write about his family before attacking other people’s families. If that is his fair and balanced journalism, then so be it, but let him be truthful. Pa Nderry must be aware that it takes 24 hours to build a website but people are not eager to attack innocent men and women for money. The Gambia comes first.
